BHA's 2021 Annual Meeting
Bald Head Association's 2021 Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, beginning at 9am EST. As previously announced, the meeting will be held electronically due to COVID gathering restrictions for North Carolina. The Association Center will not be accessible to anyone other than the BHA Board and staff.

The meeting will be accessed via a link that will be posted on BHA's web site (https://www.baldheadassociation.com) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Bald-Head-Association-300035563367002/) on the morning of the meeting.

BHA members will have the opportunity to submit questions during the meeting or they can email questions in advance to Pam Henson at pam@baldheadassociation.com.
Annual Meeting Packets Mailed December 2020
As required by BHA's bylaws, the 2021 Annual Meeting packets were mailed to the BHA membership on December 15, 2020. A small number of owners has reported that due to challenges currently facing the US Post Office's mail delivery service, their Annual Meeting packets have either not yet arrived or were recently received.

BHA wants to ensure that all of its members have the opportunity to vote at the Annual Meeting. In the event that there are additional members who haven't received their packets and want to vote, BHA is providing the following three options:
Voting Online
Prior to the Meeting
BHA is utilizing the software Vote HOA Now for the meeting's online voting. To vote online, click on the link below and enter the unique registration code found on the back page of the Annual Meeting packet. Online voting by proxy ends at 4:00pm EST on Wednesday, January 27th.

Voting by Paper Proxy Prior to the Meeting
Below is a link to the full 2021 Annual Meeting packet and a link to the proxy that can be used through Wednesday, January 27th. Members can complete the proxy and email it to Diane Mesaris (diane@baldheadassociation.com).

Proxies must be received by Wednesday, Jan. 27th at 4pm EST to be counted.
Voting by Ballot during the Meeting
Although BHA previously announced that only online voting would be utilized, voting by ballot during the meeting has been added to accommodate those who may not have been able to meet the deadline for voting by proxy. Online voting by ballot will be available on the day of the meeting from 9am - 10am EST.

Volunteer Opportunities
BHA provides numerous opportunities for property owners to get involved in one or more of its volunteer committees. Some committees request a small time commitment; others a larger one. Both part-time and full-time residents are encouraged to volunteer since they can easily participate via Zoom or GoToMeeting.

The lead article of the January 2021 Island Report provides details about BHA's committees and how property owners can participate. See the link below.

Property owners can also participate by volunteering to serve on BHA's Board of Directors. More details are provided in BHA's bylaws and there will be additional information in an upcoming Island Report about the process for election to the Board as part of the 2022 Annual Meeting.
