Hurricane Michael is currently located in the Gulf of Mexico and moving toward Florida at 12mph. It is expected to make landfall in Florida on Wednesday as possibly a Category 3 and then move swiftly up the southeastern coast of the US through Friday. Impacts should be felt here in the BHI area as early as Thursday.
Property owners are encouraged to monitor the storm's progress and make preparations now for the rain and wind associated with it.
Additionally, it is expected that the storm will affect ferry and barge operations so those contemplating travel may want to alter their plans. For
