The Village of BHI has issued a system pressure advisory for the Island due to a drill contacting a 6" PVC pipe on Bay Tree Trail. The NC Division of Water Resources advises that when water is restored consumers boil all water used for human consumption (including drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice and washing hands) or use bottled water. Vigorous boiling for (3) minutes should kill any disease-causing organisms that
may be present in the water.
