Boys Basketball
  • Strength/Conditioning Workouts are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7am
  • Fall Open Gyms are Tuesdays at 7pm

Practices will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday  4:00-6:30  after school and Wednesday  6:45-8:15  before school.
Girls Lacrosse

Congratulations to our team captains for 2017 -- seniors Bridget Brown, Lauren Croxton, and Lauyrn Tilev!

For anyone looking for a spring sport, the team is a combination of girls who played in middle school and girls how had no prior lacrosse experience when starting at Ballard. Everyone is welcome! Stay tuned for information about an upcoming open gym session for new players to give lacrosse a try, and for information about captains practices, which will start a little later this fall. 
Ultimate Frisbee

Boys Ultimate season is underway.  Varsity boys have started with a 2-1 record with wins against both Seattle Academy and Northwest School.  Seattle League begins on 9/14 against Garfield.  Next home Varsity game is against the always tough Cleveland on  Wednesday 9/21, 4:00 at Interbay.  Come check out what Ultimate is all about if you were ever curious.  You'll be happy you did!

Girls Fall League for DiscNW starts on  September 25th.  Great opportunity for our Ballard players to get some playing time in the Fall.  Sign up with a friend to be on the same team.   https://www.discnw.org/events/girlsclub/

Coed Ultimate has moved from Spring to Winter season.  The season will run January through early March. Keep an eye out here and at www.ballardathletics.com for more info.

The UW Athletic Department is offering a special deal for all Ballard students, staff and families on tickets for their Homecoming football game against Oregon State, October 22!

  • $40 per ticket
  • Limit 10 tickets per order
  • Group seating --  all BHS tickets in same section
  • Ballard will be mentioned on the scoreboard!

Beaver Gear on Sale Now!
Support the Ballard Beavers in style with Beaver Gear!  We have some hot NEW items this year including a grey Ballard logo tee (men's crewneck/women's v-neck), the new snap back and camo hats, and the Ballard red and black striped pompom beanie.  Love the classic Beavers hoodie and tees?  Never fear, your old favorite are back again too!

Fall Beaver Gear sales are open through October 7.  Turn your order in to the office during the month of September and pick up your gear at Curriculum Night on September 29 -- sales start at 6pm.  After October 7, the next opportunity to order Beaver Gear will be during the holiday season.

While supplies last we have an exclusive Red Beaver logo hat selection for those choosing to join the ABC. Supplies are limited with the hats, so sign up for the Booster club before they are gone.

School has started!

Fall sports are in full swing. Kids are practicing, playing games and trying to adjust to the schedule

The Ballard High School Athletic Booster Club is here to support families and teams. We ask all sport families to join the ABC. This year the ABC is giving away a limited supply of special edition caps and beanies to ABC members, first come first serve while supplies last, one per membership. Click the link below to download a form and get your membership turned in -- these cool Red Beaver hats are going fast! 

The Athletic Booster Club sends out a monthly newsletter to all team email lists, full of information to keep you up to date with our school's sports programs. You can expect to see important dates; team and booster news; fundraising information; links to paperwork; and news from our school athletic director, trainer and conditioning coach.

We will be selling Beaver Gear at Curriculum Night, Thursday September 29th.  Stop by the table and see the latest in fashions for The Beaver Fan. We accept cash, checks and cards.

Mark your calendar for The Blast, January 28th at The Elks. This a fun night for sports families to socialize, play corn hole and raise a little bit of money for The Booster Club.
