Final Exams Schedule
December Exams are quickly approaching. Students have access to their personal exam schedules, and teachers should be sharing this information with you as well.
During the week of December 19, students who do not have an exam during a designated time slot do not need to be at school during that time. Students who have a morning exam should arrive to campus at regular time. They will report to first period each morning. Once a student has finished all of their exams for the day, students can leave campus, unless they have varsity sports practice. Regular exam times are as follows (this does not include students with an accommodation of extended time):
Fine Arts Exam — Friday, December 16 in class Social Science Exam — Monday, December 19, 8:15am to 10:00am Math Exam — Monday, December 19, 12:00pm to 1:30pm English Exam — Tuesday, December 20, 8:15am to 10:00am Science Exam — Tuesday, December 20, 12:00pm to1:30pm Modern Language Exam — Wednesday, December 21, 8:15am to10:00am Make Up Exams — Wednesday, December 21, 10:30am to 12:00pm

Parent Association - Teacher and Staff Appreciation
Fund Reminder
The end of the semester is almost here! Please remember to give to the Teacher and Staff Appreciation Fund. The Parent Association will use some of this money to purchase holiday gifts for the teachers and staff.
- We have 72 wonderful teachers and staff members that we want to show our appreciation to throughout the year.
- Suggested amount is $75-$100 per student, but any amount is appreciated.
- THIS IS A ONE-TIME DONATION TO COVER THIS ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR (holiday, teacher appreciation week, year end gifts).
To make this all happen, we need the support of the entire parent community! We have set up via the school an online form where you can give using your credit card.
If you prefer to give via checks or cash, you can make the check out to Brandon Hall, and put the check in an envelope labeled “Beth Reaves, Teacher Appreciation.” Inside the envelope, please include your name and your student’s name. We will send you an acknowledgement that we received your contribution. The envelopes can be left with Justine McDonald in the Great Hall.
Finally, if you can volunteer your time to help us with teacher appreciation, please let us know.
Please contact Beth Reaves at breaves@me.com
if you have any questions.
Thank you for your support!

ASL Students Sign at Wrestling Match
A group of our American Sign Language (ASL) students recently signed the National Anthem just before a wrestling match against the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf. This was a meaningful way for our students to connect with others in their community through a shared language, and for them to show off what they've learned in their ASL course this year!

Annual Christmas Party for Disadvantaged Children
With the arrival of the holiday season, the Student Leadership Council and the Key Club are busy planning a major charitable event. The annual Christmas Party for disadvantaged children is the oldest tradition of Brandon Hall. This year, we will be hosting twelve children between the ages of four and seven from Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
The party is scheduled for Wednesday, December 14th, and will include a variety of activities including snacks, musical entertainment and a visit from Santa Claus. With your continued generosity, we can bring a great deal of happiness to deserving children.
Each first period class is sponsoring a child, and our goal is to provide each child with new clothing, toys, and books. In addition, we are trying to give a gift to each of their siblings. First period teachers will have the child’s name, clothing sizes, and a wish list of the child they are sponsoring. Our special Santa Claus will present the gifts to the children during our assembly on the 14th, and all parents are invited to be join us in the celebration. The Student Leadership Council and Key Club will wrap all of the presents the day before the party. The deadline for gifts and donations is Tuesday, December 13th.
Holiday Concert
Season’s greetings from the Brandon Hall’s Fine Arts Department! This year, the holiday concert will be held on December 14th, during the Children's Christmas Party. There will be performances by faculty, staff, and students, and will be the first ever performance of Brandon Hall’s Concert Band.
Please come and support the band during this special time of year!

Senior Yearbook Ads - Today is the Final Deadline!
If you are interested in buying a senior yearbook ad for your student this year, today, December 9, is your final deadline! After this date, Senior Ads will no longer be available.
Senior ads are a great way to show your child just how proud you are of them for all of their hard work and incredible accomplishments. You can add personal photos, special memories, and a unique message to honor and congratulate them in a way they’ll be able to cherish for years to come.
To create an ad, please visit this link to create a Jostens account through the Brandon Hall School portal. Once you choose your size, you can design the ad using your own photos and message. Payment is due at the time the ad is submitted.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Allison Chernutan, 2016-2017 Yearbook Adviser, at
achernutan@brandonhall.org
or at 770-394-8177 x228.
