Student artists participate in SCPTSA Reflections
Congratulations to BHS artists Sydney Smith, Sheridan Green, and Mara Scanlan for participating in the SCPTSA Reflections Contest. Here's a Virtual Gallery with all the SCPTSA entries.

Reflections is a National PTA arts competition that provides an opportunity for students to use their creative talents. Reflections takes original student submissions -- inspired by this year’s theme, "I Matter Because" -- in the areas of visual art, photography, literature, music composition, film and dance choreography.

Works are judged at the city level and then further judged with opportunities for advancement to state and national levels. We'll let you know when we hear about our student artist entries!

Thanks to Photography Teacher Gina O'Neill for coordinating this year's entries.

Planning for Inclement Weather and Snow Days
Planning for winter weather in 2020-21 is different than in past years.

As a result of remote learning, SPS is better positioned to continue school even when it is snowing, and or the roads are icy.

Changes to school schedules because of winter weather will be limited and traditional "snow day" closures are unlikely.
