Homecoming Week


Homecoming week is Sept. 30–Oct. 5, 2024, featuring the theme Coming Home: Welcome to Our House.

  • Spirit Week dress-up themes: Monday, Sept. 30-Saturday, Oct. 5
  • Hallway decorating event Monday, Sept. 30 from 4-9pm
  • Homecoming game: Thursday, Oct. 3 See the BHS marching band perform on the field at halftime!
  • Homecoming dance: Friday, Oct. 4

Start-of-school forms due Monday, Sept. 30

Ballard parents/guardians! Please complete and return applicable start-of-school forms by Sept. 30.

  1. Go to The Source and verify or update info on your emergency contacts, release info and student health, by Sept. 30.
  2. Print, complete and return the Laptop Device Agreement and any other forms that apply to your family, by Sept. 30.

Paper copies of forms are available in the main office.

Pre-order your copy of “The Shingle” by Sept. 30, 2024, to secure the lowest price of the year. Pre-sale windows and prices are as follows:

  • Through Sept. 30: $60
  • Jan. 6–27, 2025: $65
  • March 30–April 28, 2025: $70

Pay for your 2025 yearbook in the Main Office at lunch or after school with cash, check or credit/debit card, or pay online though a parent or guardian School Pay account accessed via The Source.

Supplies needed at school... can you help?

Ballard needs some supplies for our students — and families can help!

  • The main office needs tissues to distribute to classrooms and offices.
  • The Counseling Center needs composition books (Amazon wishlist), as well as Kirkland Soft & Chewy Granola Bars (from Costco) for students. Thank you for your donations!

Ballard Boys Lacrosse: Fall ball registration is open

Registration is open for all new and returning Ballard Boys Lacrosse players. Register here!


Lacrosse is a competitive, fun, no-cut spring sport with both a Varsity and JV team. Ballard is a two-time Metro Champ, coached for the third year by Ray Pryphun. Join the team for 10 coach-led practices in November and December before the team hits its stride in February for the spring season. Strength and conditioning available now, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4–5 pm.
