Housing Workshop Moving Forward at County

The County of San Diego will host their housing workshop on November 19th, where the BIA will provide a formal presentation as a stakeholder. We are focusing heavily on moving forward specific recommendations including zoning updates and relaxed regulations to improve housing opportunities in unincorporated San Diego. In preparation, we are conducting briefings for Supervisorial staff as well.

County Legislative Update

Because of BIA’s strong advocacy and collaboration with city leaders, National City has deferred its proposed development impact fee increases until January, ensuring time for meaningful stakeholder engagement and discussion.
