BIA-LAV's San Gabriel Valley Committee held a meeting on "Building During COVID-19". The guest speakers were, Pasadena Mayor Terry Tornek and Planning Director David Ruiz. They provided information on what the City is doing to maintain building, including issuing a permit extension and they also discussed economic recovery efforts.
Other topics of the meeting included; BIA-LAV’s “COVID-19 Pandemic and Housing Crisis Emergency Requests” Letter, and two items from last week’s City Council meeting: Pasadena’s Hospitality Workplace Protection Ordinance and the fiscal impacts to the City resulting from COVID-19.
