Continuing Education Classes & Seminars
The Construction Training Center of the Pacific (CTC) is a one-stop comprehensive training and educational resource center established by the Building Industry Association of Hawaii as its workforce development arm. The CTC provides academic and vocational training, career counseling, job awareness, and related supportive services that address critical labor shortages in the rapidly expanding construction industry.

BIA-Hawaii offers a full range of seminars and continuing education classes to empower you and your employees with the latest information on industry standards.

BIA-Hawaii Representative Appointed
to the State Building Code Council
Construction Industry Veteran Mark Kennedy

Mark brings over 30 years of industry experience to the State Building Code Council, comprised of building officials from each county, and representatives from fire, construction industry, energy, structural engineers, architects, and subcontractors and is responsible for adopting the various building codes by reviewing and discussing the language, intent and use in Hawaii.

Mark will represent BIA and our members well as collaboration and working together to achieve common goals are keys to success for the entire industry and the council, especially at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic has the world on a hinge. Mark is well-suited for this role and we are lucky to have him involved.
