The BIG Home Show is Back!
March 26 - 28, 2021
BIA-Hawaii is shifting The BIG Home Building & Remodeling Show to a digital platform!
We are cultivating a virtual trade show to rival our in-person shows of the past. All the elements you are familiar with from prior shows will be available on a new and exciting online platform.

Attendees will be able to access the important features of an in-person show such as getting advice from the pros and finding the services and products they need - all from the comfort of their homes.

Vendors will experience a new and exciting digital platform that will allow you to capitalize on all possible leads. You will get the same great connections you expect from our traditional show such as the ability to:

  • Connect directly with consumers in your booth via chat
  • Schedule follow up face-to-face meetings
  • Show customers your best products by sharing videos and photos
  • Offer in-booth demonstrations utilizing live stream video
  • Get more engagement by offering giveaways

The new format will allow you to expand your reach and gives you more opportunities than ever before to:

  • Reach a statewide audience - without the limitations of travel
  • Reduce overhead and staffing costs associated with an in-person show
  • Offer discounts and specials to increase traffic
  • Track all engagement through the digital show

Did You Know?
Your Education Class Fees Can Be Paid By ETF
About the Employment & Training Fund. In 1991, the State Legislature established the ETF program to address the growing need to upgrade the job skills of Hawaii's workforce, created as part of a national movement that swept the country in the 1980s. Investing in human capital to improve productivity and the nation's quality of goods and services became a top priority. The Employer Referral ("micro") program is for individual businesses that need to upgrade the job skills of their employees.

BIA-Hawaii is an approved Training Provider. ETF will cover 50% of the Non-Member course fee rate for select courses, up to a maximum of $400.

Safety Tips & Resources
Know the Dangers and Signs of Fatigue on the Jobsite. The physical demands and deadline-focused nature of construction work often lead to overwork and fatigue. Add in additional stress over the pandemic and its fallout, and many in home building are finding themselves sleeping less and prone to fatigue.

The effects of fatigue are far-reaching and can have an adverse impact on all areas of our lives, especially on construction sites with so many safety hazards.
