Space to Think

Sunderland is really changing. You can see it and you can feel it. Every week seems to bring more positive news on regeneration that will elevate the city to the confident, proud place it deserves to be. Just this month, contracts have been signed to develop a whole new neighbourhood at Riverside Sunderland and the final section of the new footbridge over the Wear has been lifted into place. Our latest Growth Lab Sunderland event was held at the new Sheepfolds development (read more below). It was a great feeling to be able to bring the city's business community together in the kind of uplifting, creative and ambitious space that embodies what all our businesses can be.

The brand new app from Sunderland City Council is now live and is part of plans to create a connected city. Cli ck here to draw attention to something you're promoting.

Ever had that sinking feeling your cyber security has been breached? Pop the NE Business Resilience Centre into your contacts for moments like these. Our Business Adviser Debbie recommends the service as a great source of free support for anything related to cyber security. It brings together police forces, academics and private sector cybercrime experts to help protect local businesses, and produces helpful materials like Little Steps to Cyber Security.
