Space to Think

It takes a lot of time and energy to set up a business, so it's well worth the investment to protect it legally. An event planned by our tenants Samuel Philips Law reminded me of a business owner who came to us in a panic because he'd discovered his staff were setting up their own company. He realised he couldn't prevent this as he'd cut corners and not issued any staff contracts. It's an extreme example, but it certainly underlines the dangers of ignoring employment law. Fear not though! You can equip yourself with up-to-date knowledge on all things employment law related at this latest event providing free legal support to Sunderland businesses. I'll be there and I'd love to see you too!
