Nehemiah's Restoration announces the start of its Sabbath Strategy Year and Three new Director roles to head NR future!

Dear Partners, Friends, and To Those It May Concern:
I am pleased to announce the start of our Sabbath Strategy Year and the selection of three new Directors' roles to Nehemiah's Restoration!
It is recorded in Leviticus 25 that God ordained the seventh year as a time of rest from work in the field, stating that for six years the Israelites were to work in the fields, doing what was necessary for the harvest. However, on the seventh year they were to not work in the field, rather they were to give it rest. On May 15, 2010, just seven years ago this coming May, Nehemiah's Restoration became recognized by the U.S. Federal Government as an officially organized 501c3.
So it is, that in the Spirit of the Lord, I announce our Sabbath year of rest from the field. What this means in terms of operations is we will still provide for the work that is currently happening to continue throughout the next year. However, during this Sabbath Strategy Year we will not expand or implement anything new to our programs, nor will there be any Executive level travel to our field operations. Rather, we will spend these next 12 months planning, strategizing and shaping for the future of our next seven years of operation!
In order for us to develop and meet our next seven year objectives in "Restoring the Mind, Body, and Soul" of those in need around the globe, the Board of Directors has enthusiastically approved the opening of three new Director positions. Each Director will have its specific focus on one of the three restoration areas of the Mind, Body, and Soul. Our new Director of Mental Health Services, will focus and strategize on how we can best assist people with mental health issues in order to "Restore the Mind." Our new Director of Medical Health Services will develop and provide medical services to assist in "Restoring the Body." And finally, our new Director of Spiritual Formation and Evangelism will develop resources and training to "Restore the Soul" of the spiritually lost people in our world.
Together, we will develop our future approach to how we assist people, by providing essential services in the short-term and by showing them the love of Christ through example, in order to restore them eternally for the long-term.

It is my tremendous pleasure to introduce to you and privilege to get to work along-side these three individuals I have known all their life and have had the previous privilege to work alongside together in the field.
Please welcome our new Director of Mental Health Services:

Finally, please welcome our new Director of Spiritual Formation and Evangelism:
NR Co-Founder & V.P., Rev. Nicholas I. Bollinger
Nick is the Co-Founder of Nehemiah's Restoration and a coffee entrepreneur partner with his wife Lori at JunctionCoffeeOKC.  Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southern Nazarene University School of Theology and Ministry and is an ordained minister of the Church of the Nazarene.  As a leader, trainer, and short-term missionary for Nehemiah's Restoration, Nick has made a positive impact on the people of Ethiopia, Kenya, Swaziland and Haiti. As a seasoned international traveler he has also engaged with people in Egypt, Sudan, Great Britain, Jordan, and Israel on other projects.  Nick is the former Youth Pastor at Western Oaks Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City, OK.  He enjoys engaging in ministry, by speaking with people through his business, so they might come to know "the Person of Christ" in our world today. Nick's passion with Nehemiah's Restoration (NR) is to develop new and innovated ways of engaging people with Christ through Christ-like actions and examples. Nick believes that if we can introduce Christ to people in this manner, they will come to know who Christ is as a person. Then, they will fall in love with him and faithfully engage in a personal relationship with him.

Over the next 12 months, with the help of these three talented individuals, our Board of Directors, together with myself, we will develop a sustainable path for our future and will secure the longevity of our organization for decades to come.
As we strategize the future of our internal operations, external communications, partner relationships, research projects, grant proposals, fundraising efforts, and on the ground programs; we wish to kindly ask you to continue partnering with us with your financial support and prayers!
I'm very excited for our future and where God will lead us in our mission to "Restore the Mind, Body, and Soul" of the people we serve. I am equally enthusiastic about the people He will place in our path to make us a global organization that seeks and saves the lost!
Please stay in touch with us as we communicate our future strategy developments throughout the next 12 months!
In the meantime, I wish to thank all of those who have assisted us in any way, shape, or form in the past and to say to you that I truly believe, "Our best days are yet to come!"
