Welcome back to the Big Futures Campaign Insider Update!

We are excited to share the latest progress and updates to our effort to create a new home and headquarters for mentoring in our community!

It has been a while since we have shared an Insider Update and we’ve got LOTS of BIG news for you, so let’s get started!

SCOTT SAID YES!!!

We made a BIG announcement at our recent Gala about a BIG gift to our capital campaign. Scott and Jennifer Lehman have stepped up in a BIG way to be our lead community donor for our new mentoring activity center. We are thrilled to recognize their generous gift of $300,000 by naming our new facility the “Scott and Jennifer Lehman Youth Mentoring Center.”

Fundraising Progress

The Lehman’s gift brings our total fundraising for the Big Futures Campaign to $2,392,300! Thank you to everyone whose generosity has gotten us this far. With the confirmation of our lead community gift, we are confident of our ability to reach our goal and will be actively inviting folks to come see our new property and join us in making our vision a reality.

Our Matches are Excited

We shared this video below at the Gala featuring a few of our Matches who got to preview the future site for our Scott and Jennifer Lehman Youth Mentoring Center. It is so fun to see their enthusiasm and hear their ideas for how they will use this new space that will be designed just for them!

We made our move!

Our staff has spent the last few months preparing for our big move and it has finally happened! We have relocated to our new administrative office space that is adjacent to the site of the future mentoring activity center. Quarters will be a little cramped until we can spread out across the two buildings on our new campus, but we are excited to settle in.

Coming Up:

Hard Hat Tours!

We will soon begin hosting regular “hard hat tours” of our new facilities! If you haven’t seen our new home, or would like to invite others to learn more about our Big Future, make plans to stop by for a tour! Once you step inside the shell of our new mentoring activity center, you will see the endless possibilities ahead for our Bigs and Littles. Tours are scheduled at 4 PM on Tuesdays and 8:30 AM on Thursdays starting 10/24 and through the end of November.
