BIG Gift from Angel Charity

We are excited to announce that Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona has been selected as a 2025 Impact Grant beneficiary from Angel Charity for Children. This amazing funding will transform our newly purchased building into a safe and supportive Mentoring Activity Center.

“Angel Charity for Children is proud to grant a record-breaking $1.75 million to eight incredible beneficiaries this year, including San Miguel High School and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona. This new milestone in our 43rd year reflects the generosity and dedication of our members, donors, and community partners,” said Vicky Curtis, 2025 Angel Charity for Children General Chair. “We are delighted to have the ability to support organizations that provide critical resources and opportunities for children in need. We are excited to embark on another year of transformative giving and invite the community to join us in making a difference.”

This investment will create a vibrant hub of connection, learning and growth for children in our community. Thank you Angel Charity!

Our annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake is under way March 21^st, 22^nd and 28^th!

This year’s event promises to be an unforgettable evening with a fun yacht-themed celebration, featuring live performances by Barenaked Ladies and Yachtly Crew, as well as exciting features including a charity casino, prize and cash raffles, food, drinks, costume contest, and more.

Proceeds from the Event will go toward supporting local charitable initiatives that benefit our community’s most at-risk children and their families: Children’s Advocacy Center of Southern Arizona, Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern Arizona, Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona, and TMC for Children.

Arizona Gives Day

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona is a participating nonprofit in Arizona Gives Day, April 1st, 2025.

This annual giving movement unites nonprofits, big and small, new and established, to celebrate their work and increase philanthropy in Arizona through online giving.

Your donation qualifies for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. Receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Arizona tax return, up to $470 if you file single or up to $938 if you file jointly.
