St. Jude Barrels Of Hope Coming June 2022
3rd Missouri Barrels of Hope Fundraiser barrel race Benefiting St. Jude produced by Michelle Hamilton.

Presenting the third Missouri St. Jude Barrel Jam, now known as the Missouri St. Jude Barrels of Hope Fundraiser. Come out to The Johnson County Fairgrounds Arena in Warrensburg, MO for a barrel race benefiting the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

In 2018 the Missouri Barrel Jam produced by Michelle Hamilton raised $40,788 for St. Jude. Our goal is to raise $100,000 or more in 2022.

The online fundraising is the largest part of this event! Be sure you read below how to register to help us reach our goal of raising $100,000 for St. Jude.

Future legends is for any riders under the age of 12 this class will be run in a 3D format. Future Legends is now $500 Added [$250 Added Saturday & Sunday]

Future legends kids can also enter the youth and open classes!

Processing Fee
The fee will be $10 for every trip to the entry table. If you enter all weekend at one time or pre enter for the full weekend then it will be just $10. If you make multiple trips to the entry table it will be $10 every time. You may not add to a form previously filled out. You must fill out a new form and pay a $10 fee each time. If you need to make changes after entering, it is $10 for every trip to the entry table.

Dress Code
Saturday and Sunday Full Western Dress Code (Boots, Hat/Helmet, Jeans, Long Sleeve Shirt with Collar will be strictly enforced EXCEPT, you may wear a 2022 Missouri Barrel Jam T-Shirt in lieu of Dress Code.

Shirts will be available for purchase prior to the event, and will be pre order only. Watch for updates.
 
Hat fine will be $10 donation to St. Jude during the Missouri St. Jude Barrel Jam. If you have a hat fine and do not pay before your next run you will get disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS! Pay at the entry table.
Rules & General Event Information
* You must be entered before the first horse runs in the Open 5D each day. Once Open has started entries will close.
* If you pre enter please contact Michelle Hamilton the producer prior to one hour start time if you need to scratch or draw out. If not done, you will still owe for your entry fees. Please give us a minimum of an hour notice of draw outs or scratches.
* If someone is purchasing your draw number or "spot" then the original contest needs to contact Michelle ASAP! Once the Open begins no spots can be switched or sold by anyone.
* We will accept cash only for on site entries.
* Failure to make your run after calling your name 3 times will results in a scratch. No entries will be refunded for scratches.
* No entries will be refunded for any reason!!!
* Horse abuse of any sort will not be tolerated. This is a public event and we hold all of our contestants to a professional standard.
* Anyone who volunteers to work will get a free entry. Please contact Michelle Hamilton to sign up to work. This includes running the gate and setting barrels!
*Payout will be 80% for all classes.

Johnson County Fairgrounds
The Johnson County Fairgrounds is located off 50 HWY about 4 miles west of Warrensburg Missouri. There will be no stalls or hook ups. Camping is FREE. There is endless room to park, camp, and make huge pens for your horses. Please feel free to camp and make yourself at home. There is no charge for on site camping or making pens. You can park on both sides of the arena as well as across the driveway near the pond. There is endless parking available, all on grass.

This is an outdoor arena. If it rains, we will reschedule. Please watch our Facebook page [MR Performance Horses] for updates if weather is questionable.
