NEW PROGRAM SITE AT COTSWOLD ELEMENTARY!
HIP HIP HOORAY we've made new friends at Cotswold Elementary! Congratulations to our site-based program for creating a new site-based program in partnership with Billingsville and Cotswold Elementary. Our Bigs will visit their Littles once a week for lunch, educational games, recreational activities, reading, and homework!
New Match Alert! (pictured to the left)
Congrats to Big Sister Jazzmin (who's also a BBBS Staff member), and Little Sister Kenndie for becoming a new match! They became a natural fit on the first visit, and connected because they discovered they have the same middle name! How cool is that?

Just Keep Practicing: Meet Big Brother Piotr and Little Brother Antonio!
Lessons and words of encouragement were given on both sides during their most recent visit. Piotr encouraged Antonio to never give up on his passion for drawing, and encouraged him to bring his sketchbook during their next visit. When Antonio stated that he was terrible at drawing, Piotr replied, “I’m sure you’re not bad, you just need practice”.
Thank you Piotr for encouraging Antonio to just take it one sketch at a time! #MentoringMatters

Little Brother Miles was so excited to finally be matched with a Big Brother! Our new match instantly connected over their love of animals, and shared pictures of their cats! Miles taught Big Brother Jay how to play chess and Rummy!
We're so glad to know that Miles found a new friend in Jay!

Hello Friends!
Warm weather is finally here, and our Littles will be on spring break very soon! It is our hope that you all will get out and enjoy nature and each other this spring. We are looking forward to celebrating all of you this month, and announcing our Big Brother and Big Sister of the year! Please plan to come out and enjoy time together and celebrate our Bigs of the Year.
Thank you for all that you do for your Little. Your time and your friendship positively impacts them in ways you may not be aware of today, but definitely affects who they will become tomorrow. That is the power of mentorship.
Thank you for your service!

The BBBS National Office is excited to invite Bigs and potential Bigs to participate in the return of the Factuality Experience, with Natalie Guillard.
The session is a 90-minute virtual experience that will be explored through dialogue, a crash course, and an interactive experience that simulates structural inequality. Participants assume characters' identities, encountering a series of fact-based advantages & limitations based on the intersection of race, class, gender, faith, sexual orientation, ability & age. There will be a pre and post-assessment utilized as well.
