From Joi:

“Being a second-generation Hunters Point native, I understand too well what our youth on the Hunters Point side of the neighborhood face: poor transportation, little to no services, two of the worst-performing schools in California—Carver and Malcolm X—community violence, the largest areas of public housing in San Francisco, no grocery stores and being proximal to one of the biggest Superfund sites in the country—the Hunters Point Shipyard.

800 Innes Avenue will allow us to expand and duplicate our housing services in Hunters Point. We'll be able to house eight staff members and create another youth access point with the same multi-services we offer throughout our locations in Bayview.”

A special thanks to Crankstart Foundation for their generous donation. They helped us make this vision a reality.

Renovation and updates are currently underway at 800 Innes Avenue, so
