TODAY IS THE 2nd DAY OF BIKE WEEK!

TOMORROW WE CELEBRATE 20 YEARS OF BIKING TO WORK!

All Winnipeggers are invited to get on their bikes and JOIN US for Bike to Work Day presented by CAA Manitoba! 74 Pit Stops will be popping up all over the city TOMORROW cheering on commuters and celebrating the JOY OF CYCLING! Pit Stops will be open between 6:30am - 9:00am!

Hosted by a variety of different organizations and communities these Pit Stops offer a variety of food, drink, prizes.

We’ll have people at most Pit Stops ready to pump up those tires or add a little lubrication to your chain and, in some cases, minor bike tune-ups as well.

TOMORROW STUDENTS CAN BIKE TO "WORK" TOO!

This year, with the help of Tire Stewardship Manitoba we are hosting a pilot Bike to School Day running TOMORROW, Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 between 6:30am - 9:00am. Selected schools will host pit stops to welcome public AND student riders at their pit stops. These pit stops will have snacks, bike maintenance and swag.

Prepare for Bike to Work Day with this FREE outdoor bike mechanics course. Hosted by Bike Week Executive Director Dave Elmore and Board Member Daniel Perry with support from the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ, learn the most important on-the-go repairs, quick safety checks, and essential tools to carry.

The first 12 attendees will get some FREE SWAG BAGS!

Free to attend and open to all experience levels.

COMMUTE WITH COMMUNITY

Starting at 6:00am on Bike to Work Day presented by CAA Manitoba, this is a slow roll, no drop ride that will stop at several pit-stops along the way. You can join us anywhere along the route and if you need to get to work, leave us at any time to make it on time. If you have the time though we would love to have you join us and enjoy the ride. Meet us at the starting point in Assiniboine Park!
