Every year, we celebrate the end of Bike Week presented by Tire Stewardship Manitoba with our annual Bike Week Bash. This year, the Bike Week Bash is presented by the Downtown BIZ. The Bike Week Bash will be on June 14, 2025 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Manitoba Legislature Grounds (SW side), but you can start your party early by joining Bike Winnipeg’s Kidical Mass ride at 1pm.

KIDICAL MASS RIDE - JUNE 14TH

The Kidical Mass ride will begin at Vimy Ridge Park (Preston and Canora in Wolseley) and end at the Bike Week Bash (SW corner of the Legislative Grounds) where there will be music and activities for the whole family! We will meet at 1:00 p.m. for some bike decorating and start to ride at 1:30 pm. The ride will be family and of course kid friendly and will move at whatever pace the kids set. We will have a short break halfway through the ride before ending at the Bike Week Bash - bring a snack to keep your little cyclist biking!

BIKE WEEK BASH - JUNE 14TH

The Bike Week Bash at the Legislative grounds is a bike themed party for the whole family! Between 3-5pm stop by for a hula jam with Kurrent Motion, bike activities with Green Kids Inc., juggling with Tait the Gr8, local snacks from downtown businesses such as Fête Ice Cream and Banh Mi King. There will also be free bike tune ups from The W.R.E.N.C.H and live local entertainment! Plus- Prairie Solar Cafe will be giving out free coffees, first come first served.

Hosted by MC Kayla Chafe, we have entertainment for you as well - including music from DJ Cadence and the Yaadies!

PUMP OUR TIRES - Support Bike Week

Every year, Bike Week brings Winnipeg’s cycling community together through dozens of events all across the city. Best of all? Most Bike Week events are FREE!

Last year, more than 15,000 Winnipeggers took part in the celebration. But none of this happens without support.

Our programs are powered by local sponsors who love cycling just as much as we do. While our tires are full for 2025, we know that our pressure is going to be down for 2026.

COMMUTER CHALLENGE

June 1- 7! A national week-long challenge that encourages Canadians to utilize active transportation - learn about the challenge HERE.

CELEBRATE WORLD BIKE DAY June 3rd.

NEIGHBOURHOOD BIKE PARTY: WEST PORTAGE YMCA-YWCA on June 6th from 3:30 - 6:30pm we invite everyone to come on down to the West Portage Y (3550 Portage Ave.) for a neighbourhood Bike Party - complete with free bike tune ups courtesy of The W.R.E.N.C.H., bike decorating, bike activities for folks of all ages with Green Kids Inc., and refreshments and goodies! Everyone is welcome, you do NOT need to be a YMCA member to come join in the fun!

FIRST FRIDAY GROUP RIDE WITH THE EXCHANGE DISTRICT BIZ AND BIKE WINNIPEG for a FREE GROUP RIDE on the First Friday of every month. The first ride of the season is June 6th starting at Valour Community Club - 715 Telfer Street. More info HERE.

WAVERLY WEST GROUP RIDE June 7th, 12 - 2pm

Join Bike Winnipeg's South West Local Bike Group for a ride in the Waverly West neighbourhood at noon.

The City of Winnipeg is no longer accepting bike registrations and is recommending that Winnipeggers register with 529 Garage HERE.
