Steve Bontje elected as Board Chair

On October 23, BILD Alberta welcomed in a new Board of Directors. Steve Bontje of Laebon Developments has taken the position of Board Chair with Wendy Jabusch moving to Past Chair.

“It’s an honour to carry on the great work BILD Alberta has accomplished during the inaugural year of the association,” says Bontje. “I’m ready to take the wheel at the provincial level and steer the industry through the opportunities and challenges we are sure to face in the coming year."

Changing of hands
The 2017/18 BILD Alberta AGM took place on October 23 in Red Deer and online.

Ahead of the AGM, the group took part in a Board Governance training session. The session set the team up well for the strategic collaboration and Board meeting that followed.

Outgoing Chair, Wendy Jabusch, officially passed the baton to incoming Chair, Steve Bontje, and wished him well for his leg of the race.
