Exciting news to kick off this week’s edition of Biolinks: we opened up ticket sales for our 24th Annual Life Sciences BC Awards presented by Farris earlier this week and spots have filled up fast! To accommodate as many attendees as possible, reserve a spot on our waitlist for the ballroom gala or secure your ticket for the Networking and Viewing Reception online. We look forward to celebrating with everyone in person in just a few weeks time.
In addition to our annual awards ceremony, there are a couple of other upcoming events we’d like to highlight: September 15th marks our 2022 AGM and members and sponsors are invited to attend either in person or virtually. The event will be hosted at the Fasken Vancouver Office and is free to attend. Applications for the 7th Annual Invest in BC presented by Lumira Ventures are also open! The event will take place on November 2nd and 3rd, with applications due by September 14th.
Coming up this weekend is the 12th World Congress on Developmental Origins of Health and Disease at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Of note, this Sunday, August 28th, the conference will host a free Open Public Panel on ‘The Impacts of Pandemics and Trauma on Child Development’ and you can sign up to attend here.
