Maine Pavilion at BIO International Convention in Boston

Earlier this month, BioME attended BIO International Convention in Boston. This 4-day trade
show gave us an opportunity to promote Maine bioscience industry and community to more than 16,000 attendees. The BioME Pavilion featured 7 Maine exhi
bitors: The B akerC ompany, GTCA, RockStep Solutions, Optimum Diagnostics Imaging, FirstPark, University of New England and MMCRI. We welcomed many visitors at the Pavilion, including Maine State Legislators whom we brought to Boston on a chartered bus. We also hosted the Maine State Reception at Verrill Dana's Boston Office on June 6.

Thank you to all sponsors for supporting BioME in this effort, especially MTI, MITC, Verrill Dana and The Jackson Laboratory.

Event recap: Women in Bioscience, March 29

Spring 2018 was definitely filled with good events for BioME and Women in Bioscience at Cellardoor Winery was one that got everybody talking. Completely sold out a month ahead, this amazing networking event featured a panel of successful female scientists and executives moderated by Dr Kristy Townsend of UMaine who serves on our Board. The discussion was very well received and the speakers truly inspirational.
