10th Annual BIST Vision Team Conference
You're invited to BIST's 10th Annual Vision Team Conference (VTC) on April 26 and 27, featuring the theme, "I've Got BIST SWAG" (Strength, With-it-ness, Acceptance and Grit). The VTC will give attendees a unique opportunity to network with other BIST teams, analyze building data, build enhanced foundations around the BIST philosophy and increase the adult community's ability to think about individual students' needs. Fall Basic BIST

On October 4-6, educators attended Fall Basic BIST in Raytown, Mo. During the training, participants developed an understanding of the BIST philosophy, learned skills and language to problem-solve with difficult students, and (through role-play) had the opportunity to observe new concepts being taught by the Behavior Intervention Support Team.
BIST Administrator's Conference: Courageous Leadership is Coming Soon

Please join us on January 24-25 for our 2019 BIST Administrator's Conference, Courageous Leadership . During this conference, we will focus on:
  • Specific supports for leaders at all phases of BIST implementation.
  • Teacher ownership and efficacy regarding students who struggle.
  • Leading in a manner that keeps the why at the forefront of decision-making.

The conference will also include site visits to area schools to help participants see what others are successfully implementing.
