Did you watch the Super Bowl and the commercials on Sunday??? I did, and surprisingly, I enjoyed them both. I actually laughed out loud at some of the commercials, including the Martha Stewart one, and loved the Budweiser Clydesdale one. The baby horse got left behind because he was just too young, and had not yet been trained about the big beer casks, but when one fell from the horse-drawn carriage, Little Guy found it and rolled it alllllll the way to the bar, probably saving the day for the Chief’s patron still at the bar with his sorrow! Actually, I didn’t care who won: I just wanted a really good game, and I enjoyed it, only not the score imbalance. I had pulled pork bar-be-que with chips and a homemade dill dip to fill me up. Not exactly healthy, but oh-so-good! And a diet 7-Up. Did you ever wonder why we feel so good about doing a diet drink or using no calorie sugar to go with our special meals of choice, especially like the one I just ate?!?! Sometimes I think we have the power to rationalize almost anything and get away with it!

FYI—our bag class this week has cancelled. Now that there is no more football for a while, don’t forget that SVQ is open on Sundays from noon-4, and there will be a longarm class with Andi from 1-3. Please sign up ASAP so Andi knows how many to expect. It’s a great way to get your practice time in, your questions answered and your confidence built. We all start somewhere, and this might just be your answer. Her topic this class—FILLERS! Exactly what we all need to learn and practice.
