Announcements
A reminder that all children through grade 5 should be escorted by their parents to child care/groups. Please do not allow your children to wander through our facilities unaccompanied.
Phishing Scam Emails: We are again experiencing emails being sent to our members from someone posing as Rabbi Albert; the problem of emails impersonating clergy is occurring in Jewish communities nationally. The email this week has the subject line: Shalom Aleichem. Please remember that Rabbi Albert will only send you email from RabbiAlbert@bethjacoboakland.org. We continue to be in touch with law enforcement regarding these emails.
What’s App Group: Stay in the BJC Learning Loop Daily. We have two Whatsapp groups for members and friends that are available to anyone with a smartphone: “Inspiration Seekers” with Meira Albert shares a weekly dose life inspiration with an inspiring article, story, or thought-provoking question.“Beth Jacob Daily Halacha” with Rabbi Albert shares a daily recording between 3-5 minutes long on the Laws of Cooking on Shabbat. If you’d like to sign up, please send an email to the office with your Whatsapp account information or cell phone number.
