| | A Note from Bill and Sarah | | |
October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month, and thanks to the leadership of Reese, one of our school captains, we are excited to bring Red Ribbon Week back to Bishop Kelly! This week is designed to engage both our students and parents in meaningful substance abuse education and awareness.
Here is a look at what is coming up:
Parent Presentation with "TallCop" | Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 7:00 PM (Cafeteria)
- We strongly encourage all parents to join us for a special presentation by Officer Jermaine Galloway ("TallCop"), a nationally recognized expert in substance abuse trends and prevention. You won't want to miss his practical insights for keeping our teens safe.
Student Assembly | Thursday, Oct. 22
- Our students will attend a morning assembly focused on drug prevention and healthy choices, featuring guest speakers from the Boise Police Department.
Student Activities & Dress-Up Days | Oct. 26–30
- Throughout the week, students will participate in educational activities during House, lunch, and break. To keep students engaged and focused on our theme, we’ll also have themed dress-up days (Wednesday–Friday) with fun prizes!
We are thrilled to bring this impactful tradition back to our school community and look forward to partnering with you to keep our students informed and supported.
God Bless,

Mrs. Amanda Ammann & Mrs. Aly Thaldorf
Community, Activities
We would like to sincerely thank and recognize Mrs. Ammann and Mrs. Thaldorf for all of their incredible hard work and dedication during Homecoming Week. From creating fun and creative themes by leading Pep Club to organizing dress-up week, Homecoming Court, contributing to the parade, and the annual Powderpuff game, they put countless hours into making the week special for our entire school community. Their regular Pep Club meetings, attendance at games, and unwavering support of our teams helped create an exciting and memorable Homecoming experience for everyone. We are so grateful for everything they do and for the time, energy, and enthusiasm they give to making these traditions possible!
