On Thursday afternoon, several Beaver Lakers had the privilege of attending a beautiful chesed event, where we assembled spa packages for the wives of IDF soldiers.

The event was organized by Kedma, an Israeli non-profit that has been providing vital support to soldiers’ families since October 7th. Their initiatives include meal vouchers, holiday packages, Kedma’s Army Families Support Programs and much more. Kedma also coordinates the majority of volunteer opportunities for American seminary students in Israel. If you’re planning a trip to Israel, Kedma can help connect you and your family with meaningful, hands-on volunteer experiences. Jamie Weiss - Thank you for coordinating

🐾WHO POOPED HERE?

ROUND 1 💩

We’re kicking off our new local wildlife guessing game with a mysterious mound. This poop was spotted near our lake trail right here in Beaver Lake. Can you figure out which animal left this behind?

(Hint: These droppings were small, oval pellets, about the size of jelly beans, and grouped closely together.) Who do you think did the doo?

A. Red Fox

B. American Alligator

C. White-tailed Deer

D. Canadian Goose

by Wednesday at noon!

We’ll reveal the answer and tell you what this animal eats in next week’s bulletin. The first person to leave the editor an email, with the correct answer, will win a ice cream from the Concession!
