Jō kish karah sōī ab sār. Phir pashutāh n pāvah pār .3.
“Whatever thou has to do, now is the time for that. Otherwise thou shall not be ferried across, and shall repent afterwards”
Guru Granth Sahib - Ang 1159 ‘Bhagat Kabir’
With more than 25 million Sikhs around the world carrying the beliefs given by our Gurus, the time has come when the Sikh world needs to come together as One community to control our own destiny. As Bhagat Kabir says in his Shabad, NOW, is the time to act and move forward. To pave a path for our upcoming generations with the light of love, respect and reverence for humanity as ONE.
That very thought and spirit gave birth to Nishkam TV – an audiovisual medium that would enable our youth to put these beliefs in practice and take the torch forward.

The Sikh Associations in America
THE SIKH COALITION
The Sikh Coalition is a community based non-profit organization based in New York that works towards the realization of civil and human rights for all people. It was founded in 2001 as a volunteer effort in response to 9/11 as a backlash of ugly hate and violence swept the country. Rucha Kaur, the Sikh Coalition's Director of Community Development, says that the inspiration comes from “desire to create a world where Sikhs, and other religious minorities in America, may freely practice their faith without bias and discrimination.” They are working to protect everyone’s constitutional right to practice their faith without fear. Save Sikhs of Afghanistan
Peace is a given for many of us. While a virus ravages our community, we do not live in fear of bombs or bullets. Unfortunately, this is not the reality for Sikhs in Afghanistan. The massacre of 25 peaceful worshippers at a Kabul Gurdwara seems like a centuries-old crime. It is incredibly difficult to come to terms with the fact that this happened on March 25, 2020. In this modern world, hate still seems to find away. ISIS has our Sikh brothers and sisters living in fear in a society where they are not welcome. They were not even allowed to mourn the dead - another bomb was set off at the cremation site. Read More. ..
