From Your Counselors:

Attention Parents! Bishop Manogue is now using Parchment. Parchment is the most widely adopted digital credential service that learners, academic institutions, and employers to request, verify, and share credentials (such as transcripts) in a simple and secure way. This platform will eliminate the need for paper requests, and will allow learners to track their transcript requests.

Starting on January 10, all students will be emailed a registration code to their Bishop Manogue email account. Students must use this registration code to start a Parchment account. All parents and students beginning on January 10, will be required to request transcripts through a Parchment account. The Registrar will no longer accept emails, phone calls, or paper request forms. If you experience any trouble with your registration code or do not receive one, please contact Brandy Burgess or Lauren McBride .

Alumni and parents may request transcripts via Parchment as well. Alumni and parents may start a Parchment account without a registration code HERE by entering their information (and their student’s information is applicable) to start an account.

Attention Students! Report Cards will be available on My Backpack under “My Documents” on Friday morning

Attention AP Students! If you would like a paper copy of the AP Student and Parent Guide,
please stop by the counseling office this week. We have them available at the receptionist
desk. You can also locate an electronic version HERE .

Counseling
Spring Group Counseling

Stress Management Group
High school students have a lot going on. Schoolwork and studying take up time, especially for honors or AP classes. Students have commitments after-school hours & are likely packed with extracurricular activities, a part-time job, a social life, and spending time with family. This could cause a lot of unwanted stress in a high schooler’s life.

Students will participate in adventure-based counseling, mindfulness, and stress management skills activities in a small group setting for 6-8 weeks to support their understanding of stress management. This group is open to 9th-12th grade students; groups will be upheld at different times depending on numbers of students interested.
Time Management & Study Skills Group

Students support their own academic success through social emotional learning and academic readiness skills during each group session. Students will have personal reflections with others, track their own academic success and strategies used & support their own learning and growth with time management and studying.

This group is for 9th - 12th graders & is upheld during Miner Blocks over the Spring 2019 semester.

Please contact Ms. Jessica Koltz if you would like to be a part of either of these groups:
