Archie Smith

This gorgeous photograph was taken by junior Archie
Smith. Archie is a first year photography student
who beautifully captured our school as a part of
an assignment exploring long depth of field
landscape photography. Well done, Archie!
Britta Verhey
Junior Britta Verhey recently performed the role of Clara in this year’s AVA Ballet performance of The Nutcracker at the Pioneer Events Center. Britta has danced in  The Nutcracker every year since she was 6 years old, and this was Britta’s first time performing the role of Clara. The role required intensive preparation as there were technically advanced solos and a pas de deux -- a paired dance. Britta had a great time playing Clara, and every show this year was sold out!
