BMCHS Weekly Newsletter

From the Desk of the Principal

Dear Bishop Family -

Thank you for your patience and support during our two capital construction projects. The fence along Hays Road is completed, and our new security entrance is now open.

Any student, parent, or visitor arriving after 7:55 AM must enter through the lobby secured entrance. To be admitted into the building, please proceed to the east side door and wait for the receptionist to grant access while in the glass-enclosed waiting area.

I am looking forward to more campus enhancements to continue to make our school safe, as safety is our #1 priority!

Ms. Jenalisa Zummo

Principal

COVID UPDATE

COVID-19 is highly contagious, and individuals who are infected can easily spread the virus to others, especially in close-contact settings such as schools. Keeping an infected student at home helps contain the virus and reduces the risk of it spreading within the school environment. If you have concerns, please contact frontdesk@bmchs.com.

Hello everyone! As we begin the new year I would like to share the dates of all class retreats this year:

Freshmen – Wednesday, October 25, 2023

Sophomore – Wednesday, November 15, 2023

Junior – Friday, March 8, 2023

Senior – Friday, April 26, 2023

Please review what the student handbook below regarding attendance for class retreats.

Opportunities for spiritual growth are offered in the retreat programs as well as youth ministry activities. Through the various programs and activities, the students are challenged to look for ways by which they can contribute and participate in the life and mission of the Catholic faith community. Each grade level has a day-long retreat during the school year. Attendance at the grade-level retreat is mandatory for all students and is part of their grade.
