2020-2021 Uniforms

We are excited to announce that the new uniform site is up and running! As you know, we have been working diligently to update our uniform purchasing site with sizing information, as we are currently not able to allow students to try on samples. Below is the new uniform site and access code to purchase. Sizing information can be found here for each of the brands offered.

Source Code: OFTS6284

It is highly recommended that in order to ensure delivery of your uniforms by the Friday before the first day of school (August 17th), that you place your order no later than July 26, 2020.

Please ensure when purchasing uniforms that at least one Green Polo is purchased as this is the required uniform top for All School Masses.

If you have any other questions, contact Danielle Lacombe at Danielle.Lacombe@BishopManogue.org .

Ms. Burgess has provided these useful apps for parents looking to monitor their students' online activities. Most of these will work across different devices. Ms. Burgess can be contacted at brandy.burgess@bishopmanogue.org for any assistance.

2020-2021 Textbook List

The 2020-21 Textbook List is now available! The link contains the list of textbooks that may be utilized during the 2020-21 school year. We like to publish our textbook list as soon as possible so parents have as much time to plan and purchase textbooks for the coming school year. However, please know that the book list is not considered final and is still subject to change until the MBS Direct online bookstore opens on July 20th.

Athletics
Athletic Communication from July 6

Dear BMCHS Student-Athlete families,

We have been notified that over the holiday weekend a small number of members in our athletic community were potentially exposed to COVID-19. These individuals are now exhibiting symptoms and getting tested. There are no confirmed cases at this time. In an abundance of caution, all high school sports activities are canceled until further notice. We request that families monitor their student-athlete closely and get them a test if they exhibit any symptoms (click HERE for a list of symptoms). We also request that if a student-athlete is being tested, he/she does not return to practice/play until negative test results are confirmed and communicated to their coach.

The school has plans and precautionary measures in place for the academic year should possible exposure happen and/or symptoms are exhibited. In this non-essential period of athletics, we feel it is in the best interest of our community to cancel on-campus activities. This will not always be the case. With a modified graduation ceremony taking place this week and our hope to fully return to school, we want to minimize any potential exposure as best we can. Again, there are policies and procedures in place for the school year and we do not intend to close campus during essential learning time unless it is required. We will adhere to state guidelines for positive test results within our own school community.

Your student-athlete’s health and well being are of the highest importance to us. We know that overall well being includes both mental and physical components and that for many students athletic participation is a need. Please know we are balancing understanding our teens, their physical and emotional needs, the requirements issued to us by the state, and the desire to keep our students COVID-19 free. Please look for an email from your specific coach for information relating to the restart of practices/play.

We wish you all a restful and healthy summer and look forward to seeing you soon.
Returning and incoming students can get their required sports physicals for the 2020-21 school year right here on campus during our annual Sports Physicals Days. Cost is $40 and proceeds support our Sports Medicine program. Sign up and get the details HERE!
Physical Day Volunteers

Bishop Manogue Athletics will be holding its Physical Day(s) on July 29 and July 30, 2020, and we are looking for medical personnel to help. This event lets student-athletes get their annual physical (required for Athletic Clearance ) while supporting the school's Sports Medicine Program.

If you are an MD, RN, PA, or NP and would like to earn service hours by conducting physicals, taking vitals, etc., please let us know. We will have two shifts each day--4 to 6 pm and 6 to 8 pm.

If you have any questions or need more information, contact Jackie Cavilia at jackie.cavilia@bishopmanogue.org or 775-772-4491.
