The Music and Drama Departments at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School are presenting a Festival of Lessons and Carols on December 4, 2019 at 7:00 pm. The concert will be held inside the BMCHS Chapel.
Lessons and Carols can be traced back to the late 19th century and are traditionally celebrated on Christmas Eve beginning with the story of the fall of humanity, to the promise of the Messiah and closing with the birth of Jesus Christ. Reading selections are interspersed with the singing of Christmas anthems and songs.
This is a beautiful and prayerful way to begin your Advent and Christmas Season

Build On
If your student is interested in a service opportunity or a potential service trip, BuildOn is the perfect organization for your student to get involved in! BuildOn is a nationwide organization, based in Detroit, whose main mission is to break the cycle of poverty through education. BuildOn has had an extremely successful chapter at Bishop Manogue, with four completed treks to Haiti, Senegal, Nicaragua, and Nepal. Leslie Righetti, the team chaperone, has been on all four treks. This year, we will travel to Malawi, a small country in Africa, to break ground on a brand new school in an underserved community. All students going on trek raise money to pay for the labor and materials for the school, as well as travel expenses. For more information and pricing, please contact Leslie Righetti at

Parents:
School Lunch
Need parent volunteers to help at lunchtime on Mondays, from 11:18 am - 11:48 am and then at 12:06pm - 12:36pm. Please contact Greg @ 775-225-1391 or Jane Festa @ 775-336-6061.

bonnie.hansen@bishopmanogue.org
or 775-336-6000 with questions.
Parents will have to enroll in Protecting God's Children through Virtus and stay up to date on monthly bulletins for two years. After the two years, you have completed all the necessary bulletins. This transfers over from any of the Diocesan schools. If you are still receiving bulletins after two complete years, contact Elda Juarez at
eldaj@catholicreno.org
to be removed from the update list.
