The Girls Retreat

The All Girls Retreat will be held from October 30th- November 1st at Grizzly Ranch. The retreat is open to all sophomore and junior girls. Sign ups are happening now and forms can be picked up either with Mrs. Sexton or Ms. Klekas. Space is limited so don't wait!
Blood Drive

The blood drive will be on September 30th. Students who participate will receive one service hour and a $10 Target egift card! You must be at least sixteen years old in order to donate.
Sign up at www.bloodhero.com and use sponsor code MANOGUE. Get your permission slip in the front office or in Mrs. Sexton's Room B 113.
Counseling Appointments

Please fill out this form if you would like to request to see your counselor for academic or personal reasons. There are physical sheets on the counselors' doors but this allows you to request to see your counselor digitally!
Dress Down Day

This Tuesday is the Dress Down Day fundraiser! For $5 you may dress out of uniform. Please still wear clothing that is appropriate for an academic setting, as outlined in the Parent-Student handbook.
Anxiety/Stress Management Group Sessions

Ms. Jessica Koltz (jessica.koltz@bishopmanogue.org, 775-336-6097) will be upholding an anxiety/stress management counseling group session once per week for the next 11 weeks of the semester for interested 11th and 12th grade students!

If you are interested or would like to refer a student to participate in this group, please fill out the google form here.

A schedule will be made to support the interested students to attend these group sessions during the school day, one time per week, throughout the semester. Please be patient as a schedule is made to support interested students; the student will be emailed when the weekly schedule is complete.

We will have our first session this upcoming week! Interested students should get their form complete or stop by Ms. Koltz's office no later than Tuesday, September 24th at 8am

Blood Drive

40 Days For Life is coming to Reno September 25th - November 3rd! Join this worldwide mobilization through prayer and fasting, peaceful vigils, and community outreach. Sign up through your local church! Learn more.
Nevada Right to Life - Camp Joshua Leadership Camp

October 4-6, Nevada Right to Life will sponsor the 6 th  annual Camp Joshua High School Pro-Life Leadership Camp. Through workshops, games and engaging speakers, campers will learn to change hearts and save lives, as well as make new friends who value life from across Nevada. The 3 day camp will be the first weekend in October at the 4-H Camp at Lake Tahoe. Our Lady of the Snows Fall Festival
The 15th Annual Our Lady of the Snows Fall Festival returns this year on October 4th from 2:30-8:30pm. We are looking for volunteers to help with face painting, raffles, games, rides and event maintenance. Volunteer your time and help us make this year's Fall Festival the best yet! School Lunch
Need parent volunteers to help at lunchtime on Mondays, from 11:18 am - 11:48 am and then at 12:06pm - 12:36pm. Please contact Greg @ 775-225-1391 or Jane Festa @ 775-336-6061.

Volunteer Drivers
We are looking for parents to volunteer to drive students to and from retreats. It will be counted for three service hours for parents. The dates needed for drivers are as follows:

Kairos 60 1/26/2020 - 1/28/2020
Quest 53 2/24/2020 - 2/25/2020

If you have not driven in the past, you will need to fill out a Driver information Packet. You can pick this up in the front office. Contact campusministry@bishopmanogue.org for more information.


Remember, the Diocese of Reno has mandatory requirements for volunteering at all Diocesan schools, including Bishop Manogue, and you cannot earn service hours until those requirements have been met. Contact Bonnie Hansen at  bonnie.hansen@bishopmanogue.org  or 775-336-6000 with questions.

Parents will have to enroll in Protecting God's Children through Virtus and stay up to date on monthly bulletins for two years. After the two years, you have completed all the necessary bulletins. This transfers over from any of the Diocesan schools. If you are still receiving bulletins after two complete years, contact Elda Juarez at  eldaj@catholicreno.org  to be removed from the update list.
