Blood Drive

The drive will be from 8:00am - 1:30pm in the Small Gym. The drive is open to students over 16 (permission slip required if under 18), parents, faculty, and staff. Make sure to stay hydrated and eat a good breakfast!

The Girls Retreat

The All Girls Retreat will be held from October 30th- November 1st at Grizzly Ranch. The retreat is open to all sophomore and junior girls. Sign ups are happening now and forms can be picked up either with Mrs. Sexton or Ms. Klekas. Space is limited so don't wait!

College Prep Information

The counselors will be in classes tomorrow to distribute practice SAT (PSAT) booklets to students. Students should utilize this resource to familiarize themselves with the format and testing procedures. Absent students may see their counselor to obtain a booklet.

The PSAT will be administered to grades 9-11 at 8:00am on Wednesday, October 16. Please arrive at 7:45am. Freshmen will report to the SCC, Juniors to the Main Gym, and Sophomores to the Small Gym. Students will be dismissed around 11:30am. We will make all attempts to start and end on time, and apologize for any potential inconvenience with a delay in dismissal time.

Partnership with Princeton Review Test Preparation

Bishop Manogue Catholic High School has partnered with Princeton Review to offer ACT and SAT test preparation services digitally and on campus at a 40% off savings. Their mission is to provide personalized tutoring, test prep, and admission products and services to help students knock down barriers and achieve their academic goals. Princeton Review is not affiliated with any of the test developers. If your child does not receive a higher score at the conclusion of the test preparation service, you will be refunded. Service Opportunities

Respect Life Baby Supplies Drive
The annual Respect Life Baby Supplies Drive will continue until October 4. All religion classes will be collecting diapers, baby wipes, powdered formulas, and other baby supplies. They will benefit Casa de Vida, a local charity that supports mothers in need. Students may earn up to five service hours, gaining one hour for every $15 spent on supplies.

Build On is a service organization that builds schools globally. If you would like to participate in an upcoming trip, please visit .

Lexie's Prom Boutique
This non-profit organization is looking for prom clothing donations. They need prom dresses, purses, jewelry, dress pants, jackets, ties, etc. So please clean out those closets and bring them in to the office where there will be a box for donations. Our Lady of the Snows Fall Festival
The 15th Annual Our Lady of the Snows Fall Festival returns this year on October 4 from 2:30-8:30pm. We are looking for volunteers to help with face painting, raffles, games, rides and event maintenance. Volunteer your time and help us make this year's Fall Festival the best yet! Football Admissions Volunteers

School Lunch

Volunteer Drivers
We are looking for parents to volunteer to drive students to and from retreats. It will be counted for three service hours for parents. The dates needed for drivers are as follows:

Kairos 60 1/26/2020 - 1/28/2020
Quest 53 2/24/2020 - 2/25/2020

If you have not driven in the past, you will need to fill out a Driver information Packet. You can pick this up in the front office. Contact for more information.
Remember, the Diocese of Reno has mandatory requirements for volunteering at all Diocesan schools, including Bishop Manogue, and you cannot earn service hours until those requirements have been met. Contact Bonnie Hansen at  or 775-336-6000 with questions.

Parents will have to enroll in Protecting God's Children through Virtus and stay up to date on monthly bulletins for two years. After the two years, you have completed all the necessary bulletins. This transfers over from any of the Diocesan schools. If you are still receiving bulletins after two complete years, contact Elda Juarez at  to be removed from the update list.
