We started searching for a puppy in December. By February I was getting frustrated about finding a breeder/puppy as we’d had a few disappointments. One of the breeders told me to have Faith. I told my husband that if we ended up with a female puppy from him, let’s call her Faith. Well, we didn’t get a puppy, just another disappointment. In March we traveled to New Zealand and while there, I got an email about adopting a one-year old Berner. Wasn’t too sure I wanted to do that as I just didn’t want to miss one second of their all too short lives and I love those puppies! I asked for a little more info. They said, “well, her name is Faith...” I dropped the phone and just two days after returning home, we picked her up. She was meant to be and came to us at a great time, when we all need a bit of Faith! She is your typical sweet and loving lap dog.
Only those who have had these big loving and gentle dogs know how special they are. All the best to you and your four-legged family! Stay well.
