It takes courage to tell the truth! One of the most important things every boater agrees upon is safety. 1. Safety - the state of being safe; freedom from the occurrence or risk of injury, danger, or loss. 2. The quality of averting or not causing injury, danger, or loss.
To speak the truth is a form of safety which is easy enough to give in the spirit of providing an increase of happiness and enjoyment for the prosperity of all. Fortunately, the people of Orange County look to business owners, city officials, and political representatives to speak the truth, live up to their spoken and written words, and to act accordingly. In the absence of such action, it is incumbent upon the people to rectify deliberate injury, danger, and loss perpetrated upon them.
The inferior dock maintenance, uncertainty concerning proposed harbor renovations, and exhorbitant slip fee increases, absent improved services, can be considered a safety issue. The ongoing class-action lawsuit is the remedy a majority of boat owners, who rent slips in Dana Point Harbor, have chosen to stand behind.
Legal actions and lawsuits are time-consuming and expensive. During legal cases, the lack of movie-drama action may bore the most ardent legal watcher because of expectations of Hollywood-style drama that does not readily occur. “Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.” It is your financial support and trust in the judicial process that fuels the progress and remedy you seek.
Your Dana Point Boater’s Association appreciates your donations and asks that you kindly consider making regular monthly contributions in support of the ongoing legal action. Together we move toward a common goal. The truth sets everyone free who engages in the practice of it.
The only thing you can do with a lie is to expose it for the harm it seeks to cause. Thank you for your attention and generous support.
