Please click here to view customary BOLLI Zoom practices, including how to set up your computer and camera, how to mute and unmute yourself, and tips for how to be a good citizen of the BOLLI Zoom classroom. If you will be using an iPad to access your BOLLI courses, please click here for handy tips.
Whenever possible please
- Turn off the ringer on your phone and make sure you are in a quiet space;
- Remain quietly seated and attentive to your classroom colleagues and group leader;
- Follow the flow of conversation carefully and participate in the dialogue, referring to other participants by name and referencing their comments and questions;
- Turn your video off if you need to do something distracting such as change locations, stretch or eat.
If you ever need help with Zoom, please don't hesitate to reach out to Nicole Grant, Program Coordinator at 781-736-2992 and/or [email protected]. Please give her as much information as possible about the issue you are experiencing. Either Nicole or another staff person or volunteer will be back in touch with you promptly.

Conversations on Race in our Daily Lives
Thursday, October 28 at 4:00
Our October and November meetings will feature the voices of Black intellectuals and how they understand the prevalence and persistence of racism in our culture. We have selected two notable legal scholars, Derrick Bell and Randall Kennedy, both recently in the news. We’ll explore their life experiences; their thoughts on the intersection of race and legal institutions; the approach and style of their written work; and their differing points of view on the future of racism in this country.
The Our Next Meeting page of our website (HERE) introduces Bell and Kennedy and provides a starting point for both the October and November conversations.
