What could be better than four days of soccer at Mount Ida with
Steven Conway and special guest coach
Shalrie Joseph and assistant coach
Adeon Muyskens (03 ECNL)?
Harry, Rory &
Jasper from our 2011 Boston team kept the energy levels high (note: Rory should have a visit from the tooth fairy this weekend!) and
Bella were a fantastic addition to this group! Academy and ECNL boys demonstrated drills and skills in spectacular fashion. Players traveled from all over including Bolts Strikers and Green Lions to participate and improve their technique in a fast paced and fun environment. Movie crews from Chris Evans (
Avengers) & Michelle Dockery (
Downton Abbey) latest Apple TV film filmed all over campus this week and we'll all want to see
Defending Jacob when its released. The film is based on a 2012 novel by local author.
Bolts 2004 Academy at Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup Opening Ceremony at The Cotton Bowl
from the Dallas Cup Preview released by FC Dallas
With the Generation adidas Cup and Dallas Cup kicking off this weekend, take a look at each team's schedule and their biggest goals for the tournament.
The U-15 schedule is another competitive stretch of games. They will face Kent Schools FA, which consists of multiple districts coming together to compete in this tournament. They also will face the Boston Bolts, who have recorded 11 wins so far this year, and lastly face TSF Academy with hopes of advancing out of their group. Head coach Alex Aldaz has several goals for this tournament.
"One, to evaluate our current crop of youth in the U-15s, and the other will be to compete, to win," he said. "The boys have to feel that pressure. There's no margin for error."
