It is with great disappointment that we announce The Ron Macklin Memorial Open (BOMA Day 2020) has been canceled due to circumstances beyond our control.
We know from the recent and overwhelming response that this event was very much anticipated. Our dedicated committee worked creatively and diligently through the details to create a safe and welcoming environment for our golfers, lunch, happy hour and dinner guests.
Unfortunately, the recent pandemic and social distancing guidelines have forced Jacaranda Country Cub to make a strategic decision to start renovations on the two courses that were planned for later in the year. While the club offered to make some accommodations, it was clear that we would not be able to overcome the challenges to bring our sponsors and our guests an acceptable BOMA Day experience.
On the brighter side, we know these renovations will make the BOMA Day 2021 experience that much better. In fact, we already have sights set on a great day!
How we are moving forward.
Through these unforeseen times, our sponsors and guests remain our #1 priority. We appreciate your continued support and – with full confidence that our BOMA Day 2021 is going to be the best golfing and network event you’ll attend in 2021 – we are happy to hold paid registrations for next year’s event. However, we also know that a refund might help with unexpected revenue shifts that you may have experienced.
