Young Leaders TOBY Tour of Newport Gateway
On February 24, BOMA OC's Young Leaders Committee hosted a tour of the 2021 TOBY winning building, Newport Gateway.

The tour was open to all ages and attracted more than 80 people to view the amenities and features that make this building so special.

Through the hard work and dedication of Phillip Leotaud and the College Outreach Committee, over 40 students from UCI and Cal State Fullerton's Real Estate Association were in attendance.

"Our work with the Real Estate Association students gives them insight into the commercial real estate industry that would otherwise be missed. We were thrilled to be able to give them a small taste of what goes into the management of a building like Newport Gateway", said Phillip.

Newport Gateway is owned and operated by the Irvine Company and competed in the renovated category.
Industry Luncheon Committee Hosts First In Person Event of 2022
The Industry Luncheon Committee hosted the first event of 2022, "Start the Year with Service."

Featured speaker Andy Stangenberg, Founder and CEO of Q-Principle, Author, and Life Coach brought his high energy program us and engaged all 140 in attendance through group participation and a very special PB&J demonstration with committee member Ryan Strzalka.

Attendees left the meeting armed with strategies to strive for success in business and in life. BOMA is excited to help you start the year with service!

Philanthropy Committee Stands with Ukraine
On February 24, 2022, at 5.00 AM the armed forces of the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine in an unprovoked act of war.
