A big thank you to our Sponsors for providing snacks, shade and support as we strive to make Orange County the best its ever been. And if you missed this event, keep an eye out for the upcoming events our Philanthropy committee is already working on.

On the evening of Thursday, June 17 over 140 members and friends welcomed each other back to live events in a big way. The ever popular Pinot's Palette Event hosted by our Networking Committee.

Thy Wang and team put on an evening to be remembered, starting with gourmet street tacos & fresh cocktails, cookies that have become a thing of legend, topped off by an hour of painting led by the fun Pinot's Palette artists.

A perfect June evening and coastal breeze reminded us all of the gem we have that is Orange County. And we can't wait to see you in the fall for our next networking event, Oktoberfest.
PICNIC AT PARK PLACE: A MORNING FULL OF FUN AND KNOWLEDGE
On Thursday June 24 Allied members of BOMA Orange County engaged with over 40 property managers for a unique 'round robin'. Each group had 7 minutes to learn and ask questions with industry leading service & product vendors.

The June gloom burned off just in time to enjoy the Zen-like Fountain Court at Park Place, a unique subterranean space created by the design team at LBA.

Our Industry Luncheon kicked off the morning with a networking social hour, followed by the training, and finishing with lunch and a BIG raffle!

Shout out to non-member Emily Sumner for winning the $500 Visa GC grand prize! BOMA OC accepts Visa as a form of membership payment!

We look forward to learning even more at our next event.

NEWS FROM SACRAMENTO: AB 255 STALLED ON ASSEMBLY FLOOR

As reported on News Bites through the BOMA Orange County PAC, AB 255 failed on June 3, 2021 and was moved to the Inactive File!  AB 255 which appeared to be just another version of SB 939 provided for additional rent relief, stalled repayment periods and provided additional work-out requirements for landlords. CBPA called for assistance and BOMA Orange County plus other chapters statewide stepped up to successfully oppose this bill.
