These are certainly challenging times we are living in and BOMA Sacramento and I want you to know that we stand with you and are here to support you. In this unprecedented situation it is now more than ever that we should be utilizing our connections for support, advice, and assistance. Our #1 priority is the health and safety of our members, families, tenants, and communities. BOMA is actively updating both the local and international websites with resources to help us all navigate this situation. When we are able to safely reschedule events we will attempt to get as many functions back on the calendar as possible. We miss seeing our members and look forward to in-person interactions resuming as soon as is appropriate.
So many of our industry peers are struggling, many have been laid off or furloughed, some may be sick or have sick family members, so remember to be kind to each other and support each other. If you know of any job opportunities please send them to BOMA Sacramento so we can post them on our website for those that may need our help.
Until we see you again please know that we are thinking about you and are here to provide you support in any way we can.

As I sat at the new desk in my new office last week, which is the dining room table in my home, flanked by our daughter's art station on my left and our son's Lego table on the right, watching the Stock Market drop more than 2,000 points in one day and businesses closing their doors, I thought to myself, "Wait a minute! In short, landlords and tenants need to be proactive and modify their leases now to address rent payment issues they will face in the coming months
