Government Affairs Manager Meets with LA City Councilman John Lee
Our government affairs manager, Blake Perez, had the opportunity to meet with Councilman John Lee and his staff, representing the LA City Council’s Twelfth District. The Twelfth District is in the northwest portion of the San Fernando Valley, including the communities of Northridge and Chatsworth.

Councilman Lee and his staff heard us out on our issues, especially issues for our members in the San Fernando Valley. Homelessness is a critical issue our members are concerned about addressing immediately. The council member and his staff were sympathetic and acknowledged how troublesome the issue remains. They expressed that difficulty in action lies with getting more council members on board with ideas that will work. They hoped we would continue using our voices to push for more common sense and practical solutions.
