BOPA'S COMMUNITY ARTS GRANT
Apply for Up to $17,000 of Grant Support
The Community Arts Grant produced by BOPA supports community-artist collaborative design & implementation of new, exterior wall mural projects sited in underserved communities of Baltimore City. The collaborative projects must be free and open to the public and exist in outdoor, publicly-accessible space. Grant applicants may request up to $17,000 in mural project funding support. Individual Grants for Baltimore City Artists
As the Baltimore City Arts Council, BOPA will serve as the fiduciary agent of the Artist Recovery Grant (ARG) for individual artists in Baltimore City. The ARG is open to individual artists and performers of every discipline who are at least 18 years old and live in the City of Baltimore. For the Annual Asia North Community Exhibition
The 4th annual Asia North community exhibition and festival celebrates Baltimore’s Charles North (aka Station North) neighborhood’s constantly evolving identities as a Koreatown, arts district, and creative center. This year's Asia North exhibition will be a healing and empowering space for regional Asian and AAPI artists to express remembrance, resilience, power, and pride within the context of the ongoing triple pandemic of COVID-19; social, environmental, and racial injustice; and economic insecurity. COVID CAREER RESILIENCE GRANTS
Funding for Artists in Craft Disciplines
Applications for the Artist Get Ready + COVID Career Resilience Grants from The Artists Safety Net are now open. This grant awards up to $500 to individual artists working in craft disciplines to conduct activities that will help safeguard their studios, protect their careers, and prepare for emergencies. ART & EARTH JURIED EXHIBITION
Total Prizes Up to $1,000
This spring, the Berkeley Arts Council (BAC) will host the 12th Annual Art & Earth Juried Art Exhibit at the Berkeley Art Works in Martinsburg, WV. There are prizes for Best in Show, Merit Award, and Honorable Mention. The total prize fund is up to $1,000. The deadline to submit artworks is midnight on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Project-Based Grants From the Graham Foundation
The Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts awards project-based grants to individuals and organizations and producing exhibitions, events, and publications. The foundation is currently accepting applications from organizations for Production and Presentation Grants of up to $30,000, The deadline to submit is Friday, February 25. The Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) is seeking entries for its juried exhibition, "Reflections," which will be on display in MFA’s online gallery, Curve Gallery, from April 15–May 31, 2022. CREATE NEW LIVE PUPPET THEATRE
Artist Grants From the Henson Foundation
The Jim Henson Foundation is inviting applications for the creation and development of new, innovative works of live puppet theater through three funding mechanisms:

  1. Production grants of $7,000 will be awarded for the production of new works ready to be presented in the coming year;
  2. Workshop grants of $3,000 will be awarded for the development and workshopping of these pieces;
  3. Family grants of $4,000 will be awarded in support of the development of new and innovative work geared toward children, families, & teenagers. 

Letters of Intent are due March 7, 2022, and selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by September 5, 2022. Click below for details.
WINTER GRANT CYCLE NOW OPEN
Unrestricted Funding to Spark Creativity
Innovate Grant awards two $550.00 grants each quarter to one visual artist and one photographer. In addition, four honorable mentions (two in art and two in photography), will be featured and recognized on the Innovate website. Dinner Detective Virtual Auditions
The Dinner Detective is currently casting actors, improvisers, and stand-up comedians who are 21+ for their murder mystery ensemble. They are especially looking for performers who can play 35+. Most shows take place on Saturday nights with a pre-show rehearsal. All roles are paid and scheduling is based on the performer's availability. Part-Time Summer Jobs With YouthWorks
YouthWorks 2022 will operate a five-week summer program for youth from July 5–August 5, five hours per day, five days per week, totaling 25 hours per week. YouthWorkers will be introduced to workplace experiences, financial literacy development, career exploration opportunities, and skills training.
