Here we are in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic and trying to make our lives work with all these constraints. Our family life is upended and our daily routine is dramatically altered. I hope as we reopen some of our society you continue to remain safe. At Boulder Hadassah we have been thinking of different ways to stay connected to our members. We have discovered Zoom meetings and webinars, and are using them for our Book Club, Mah Jongg Games, and just meeting up for a Happy Hour. It's different, but it's working to keep us connected.
You have an opportunity to help Hadassah hospitals in Israel fight the Covid-19 pandemic. Your donation which will help buy an ICU bed, ventilators and other needed equipment. Your donation will be matched by an anonymous donor who has pledged up to $3.5 million dollars.
Unfortunately, we have postponed our Mah Jongg Tournament due to the coronavirus, but we do have programs we are delivering in a virtual remote manner. We co-sponsored a talk with the Boulder JCC about Archaeology and Politics in Israel on 5/11, and hosted a meeting on 5/17 with Dafna Michaelson-Jenet, Hadassah Advisor and Representative to the Colorado State House and a recent Covid-19 survivor. We are working on more programs that we can do on the internet, so if you have special talents you want to share with us or any special requests, please let us know.
Please stay safe!
