an open-call exhibition, fundraiser and community awareness event opens THIS Saturday, March 7, 2015! The exhibition exclusively features work that incorporates dogs and/or cats, with sales benefitting local animal welfare groups!

Adoption Event with Barrio Dogs & Exhibition Preview, 3 - 5PM
Visitors will get a chance to meet animals in need of their forever home, learn about the benefiting organizations, participate in family-friendly activities, and preview the exhibition!
Award Ribbon Presentation, 6PM
A special guest representative from Team Cat (Dennis Nance as Snickers the Cat) will judge the work on view and award artist-made ribbons!
Best in Show Reception & Sale, 6 - 8PM
Sale of the work will be competitive and tracked throughout the night to see who is top dog/cat! Guests are encouraged to dress up and show their allegiance to Team Cat or Team Dog, with face painting by BOX 13 Member Cinthia Gomez and a photo booth to document your look. Sip on specialty punch and take your purchased work home with you the night of the event!
Proceeds from the sale of the work will benefit Barrio Dogs, Friends for Life, and BOX 13 ArtSpace.
