Library Closing due to COVID-19 Pandemic
March 15, 2020
Over the weekend, the Board of Directors and Library Director have decided, after much deliberation, to CLOSE THE BLOOMINGDALE PUBLIC LIBRARY as of Sunday, March 15 at 5:00pm. This decision was made to ensure the safety of our patrons and employees. The duration of this closure is uncertain but will be at least through Sunday, April 5.

BPL will continue to be a polling place for the March 17 election, however library services will not be offered.

Just a reminder - we are now a FINES FREE library, and effective today all materials have been renewed until May 1. Please do not feel the need to rush to return materials to our book drop, and do not leave materials outside of the library doors to return them. We ask that you hold materials for the time being and return them once we have more information regarding when we will reopen.
